Shouldn't it just be something along the lines of:

$socket->bulb = new Lightbulb();
$socket->bulb = new Lightbulb(); #changed;
[download]

Or something of that nature, as the lightbulb isn't changing itself really, it's being replaced. At least in the "real world".
