I got "Can't load PDL::Core module at C:/sperl/589/perl/lib/DynaLoader.pm line 249.", and "Can't load PDL::Core module" is a croak in BOOT of PLplot.dll when I did
perl -MDynaLoader -e"@PDL::Graphics::PLplot::ISA = ('DynaLoader'); Dyn
+aLoader::bootstrap('PDL::Graphics::PLplot');"
with broken dll. Are you sure you are not mixing win64 and win32 dlls/perls? Are you sure you dont have a win64 libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll in your path or dll search path
