I think you're missing the point totally. This has been discussed at least three times in recent history, most recently here. If people could not post anonymously, what's to stop them creating a throw away account and posting whatever they want from there? **

So if someone doesn't have an account they have no right to respond/provide an alternate view point? I find that ridiculous. Perhaps you don't understand what the word anonymous means in this context.
