A couple of months ago I made the mistake of pre-announcing London.pm's project to rewrite Matt Wright's scripts in something approaching 'real' Perl, Since then I've had a lot of interest in this project, whilst the project itself hasn't made much progress.

As I haven't been travelling to or from a conference this weekend (for the first time for some weeks!) I decided to do something about it. As a result, the first drafts of eight scripts are online at www.dave.org.uk/scripts/nms/.

Comments, patches, encouragement and offers of help are all welcome :)
