i did write these commands at the top of script it said
syntax error at modify.pl line 2, near "% pp -o "
"use" not allowed in expression at modify.pl line 8, at end of line
BEGIN not safe after errors--compilation aborted at modify.pl line 9.

and this is how code head looks like
