BTW: As the document refers to Goethe i'd like to mention that his famous deathbed cry "Mehr Licht!" (More light) is often misunderstood or misinterpreted.

In effect it was "Merr lischt so schlecht!".

Explanation for non-germans: Something was wrong with his bed or he had lumbago.
