Ill work on putting together the latest bit of code for everybody to look at. Problem is i butchered it so much trying to figure this out there isnt a good example left lol...

I was using perl grep. I guess the real problem i am having is inconsistencies. For example i can put together a list of file names that i need to get but if there is even the slightest inconsistency ftp kicks me out or the search function returns undesirable data...
