merlyn will correct me if I'm wrong, but I do it this way just in case another SIGCHLD comes in -- if there's nothing in place *within* my signal handler to catch the signal, it could kill the program altogether. Just a little paranoia.$SIG{CHLD} = \&REAPER; # waitpid code goes here
