FWIW, maintainer says I'm retiring so I have surrendered maintainership of all Curses-UI modules which had a maintainership
Why are we so backwards when it comes to TUI?

Curses is a PICKLE all on its own, everywhere, and naturally, every little thing is optional -- and if you don't compile that support in, the higher level modules like Curses::UI don't stand a chance ...
but I don't really TUI
