Hi,

I was thinking of modules such as Net::FTP (which is a core module), Net::SFTP, Net::Telnet, Net::SSH and many other modules available in the Net domain of the CPAN: http://search.cpan.org/search?query=Net%3A%3A&mode=module. Which one would be fit really depends on what exactly you need to do.
