Howdy, Could you guys please tell me how to run a Perl program from the Windows CMD? I am on Windows 7 and I searched the Net for answers, but none of 'em worked. I tried opening the Perl program in question that says 'Hello World' but when I open it with the CMD, it just opens up the Perl code in my default text editor (Sublime Text) and I want it to run in the CMD like the bad-ass Perl programmers do it!

This command just opens it - C:\xampp\htdocs>test.pl

Please help, thank you!
