Good morning folks,

I'm starting to learn web services in Perl and have few basic questions.

Read somewhere that - we can write code for a web service without need of a Traditional web Server installed such as apache etc... thanks to marto (Chancellor) for correcting me. Is this really possible? If yes,

1. Can you please help to provide a sample web service which returns 0(success) or 1(unsuccessful)
2. Where should I save this file, the path and file type?
3. How to convert this to a web service?
4. How to access this web service from a client from Internet explorer? What would be the URL?
