I want to make a table by capturing only first & fifth column, from this data & then sort based on the column no five. can some one help me get the code for this.. I have following code but it is not working :_
#!/usr/bin/perl use strict; my @lines; my $i = 1; while (<>) { if ($i and / clock / ... /data arrival time/ && $i--) { # print $_; push @lines, $_; } } #print @lines[2], "\n"; my @lines_2 = split ( / /, @lines[2]); print @lines_2[1];
