cd ~/bin
curl -LO http://xrl.us/cpanm
chmod +x cpanm
# edit shebang if you don't have /usr/bin/env
If it were ME, I'd
rm -rf ~/Downloads/App-cpanminus-1.7004
rm -rf ~.cpan/build/App-cpanminus-1.7004-dOsLCQ/
and start over, as described in the POD for cpanminus.
I can't speak to the contents of
/root/.cpanm/work/1401073698.24129/App-cpanminus-1.7004
as I have no idea
