No. Altho I'd prefer that to most of the other options (JavaScript libraries) out there.

It appears I had a very incorrect impression. Based on some of the links I came across, pertaining to JSON. One of which, was an editor.

I guess the question I have now is. Is there any Perlish alternative for accomplishing what I'm after, that you, or anyone else, would be willing to recommend?
