This bit will stop working once you start getting multi-digit IDs: 

$key = $1 if /^ID=(.)/;

[download]

You'll want this instead: 

$key = $1 if /^ID=([^\s]+)/;

[download]

Otherwise you'll end up silently overwriting previous entries.
