Has anybody an insight view in what the future of Padre may look like. I am particulary interested in the Windows version of it and tried without any success to build Padre under Strawberry Perl 5.18. Version 0.94 (February 2012) of Padre seems to be the only officially supported version but it does not support Git. Version 1.0 has the Git support but is not officially released.

Is it worth to wait for Padre 1.0 and when might it become available? Or is there a freestanding version of Padre which I am not aware of?

Maybe one of you could help me with your advise. Thanks for your help and best regards

Jo
