I am going to help you fixup your program, and we are starting by rewriting sub extract_files { to get it down to 20 lines .

I wrote the first part in Re: directories and sub directories and copying or moving hundereds or thousands of files :) and now its your turn to write the next line, real code using real variable names.

No pseudocode, no changing the varnames ...

Want to do this right now or what?
