Modules that contain XS code (compiled modules) are typically not binary compatible with other Active Perl versions.
You can use the following perl script to create a batchfile to install all of your ppm modules.
Run the script with the old perl version and save the output to a file (ppm.bat), then install the new ActivePerl version and run the batchfile.
You will need to make sure any PPM repositories you manually configured in the old version are added to the new version.
use warnings;
use strict;
foreach( `ppm list` ){
chomp $_;
next unless( $_ =~ /site/ );
$_ =~ /^\| (.+?) /;
print "ppm install $1\n";
}
