Hi,
I recently had to deploy a script on an AIX box without a compiler that was missing Text::CSV_XS, so I couldn't compile it. Luckily, there's a slower, pure-perl version, Text::CSV.
I'd like my script to look first for _XS and then fallback without error the pure version, and only error if that's also missing.
As a minor complication, the object will have different syntax for creation - i.e. "my $csv = Text::CSV-> new" vs "my $csv = Text::CSV_XS-> new".
What's the best way to go about this?
Thanks in advance...
