One of my modules in CPAN has become old. The same functionality is better implemented in other modules. I want my (possible) users to know that there will not be new releases.

Is there an official way to deprecate a module in CPAN?

If possible, CPAN indexer should rank a deprecated module lower in the results and display a warning in search results.
