I think there is a ticket somewhere in some bug tracker on renaming Perl 6, but I can't find it at the moment.
It's here: "Perl" in the name "Perl 6" is confusing and irritating. Note the comment further down by TheDamian (GitHub user "thoughtstream") regarding the "Raku" name. And just today I ran across a post somewhere (I can't find it right now) arguing in favor of keeping the Perl 6 name. So I think basically it's still in discussion.
Of course, the language might just end up being named "Whatever" ;-)
Update: liz starts talking about it at this point in the talk.
Update 2: The discussion is also in this pull request.
