I was launching gimp from a perl script (batch file) and it was complaining about missing libgimpui-2.0-0.dll

The problem was %userprofile% was set to a shortpath, and this old version of gimp.exe didn't like it

Solution was reset USERPROFILE=%homedrive%%HOMEPATH%
