This is what I mean it's not real threads. Maybe I should say Perl provides no real or true shared memory multi-threading programming capabilities. It's just a lighter weight fork. So it's still a 100% inaccurate to say that perl supports threads knowing DAMN WELL that most people will think this implies Perl/perl provides a true, single interpreter, shared memory threading experience. There is no point in using "threads" if the threads can't communicate over shared memory and all belong to the same parent interpreter. Full stop.
