You are correct. I clarified my post and apologized to woolfy because the term "shadow" was not meant to trash Raku at all! It was meant more as "whilst Raku remained branded as Perl 6 it cast a long shadow over Perl".

Raku could be the best language on the planet, maybe a better language than Perl will ever be, but that is not the issue here, nor the point of the post.
