Greetings. I have LWP version 6.04 installed on my system. The current version is 6.53. I have been having some problems with it decoding utf8 content and one suggestion out there is up make sure you have the most recent LWP. Mine is nine years out of date.

Heretofore, I have been using ActiveState Perl Package Manager to install modules; however, it offers no newer version than what I have.

Does cpanm have the ability to upgrade this package? I ask this because it doesn't seem to have any upgrade option. If I just install LWP with it, will it overwrite the current version? I assume it will but want to check before I screw something up.
