hmmm, it's only mentioned as foot note in the post you linked. This is your argument that's I'm harping on the point?

There are 4 @headings. In every formatting all 4 records fit on a page, and are easily understood at a glance.

And all done without spreadsheets or printf. So yeah, that was nonsense.
