You are ignorant of Christian theology if (as you claim) you "[n]ever heard the Christians' God described as 'humble'". Sorry, man. One doesn't have to go looking all that hard to find it.

Why do you call me arrogant? I'm not a "Christer" at all. I was raised in it, and studied it intensely for many years. I'm not saying I'm "one of the great Christian scholars of our time"; far from it. But I know enough to know that a literal reading of the scriptures, stripped of cultural context, does not produce anything like good, classical Christian theology.
