You misunderstood.

The only advantage of decimal calculation is that the resulting problems are easier understood because humans have 10 fingers.

But the problems won't go away, eg 1/3 stays periodic in decimal and binary representation.

It's not C ... it's math!

Update

Some languages offer support for rational numbers, i e 1/3 would be represented by two integers 1 and 3 instead of 0.333333...3, but this still keeps the representation of irrational numbers like the root of 2 or pi open.
