actually, he didn't even receive the Nobel Prize for his Relativity Theories.
They were still so disputed at the time (1921/22), that only the Photoelectric Effect was mentioned.
Point is a British expedition to South America just after WWI found experimental proof measuring positions of stars during a total eclipse, so it couldn't be denied anymore that he might be onto something with his General Relativity and its gravitational lenses ...
