Hello, I'm trying to package a collection of scripts in two versions : a script to run on systems with Perl available (linux/mac/etc..) and an executable for windows without Perl available. I have two problems :
1) The shebang points to my own perl interpreter (instead of #!/usr/bin/perl or #!/bin/env perl), so it contains my user and company names... Same behaviour with Perlbrew or Strawberry Perl. I realise as I'm writing that there's no standard shebang between systems, but is it nonetheless possible to get something else?
2) I get the error "Can't locate PAR/Heavy.pm in @INC" when running the script on a system without PAR installed, which makes me wonder if I correctly understand the concept and working of PAR::Packer. Should the script not be able to extract itself (without external dependancies)?
ThanksIn reply to PAR::Packer shebang + PAR::Heavy missing by kaldor
