I've seen that notation before. I'm reasonably sure it's the same as described in "Moose::Util::TypeConstraints - Default Type Constraints".

The author of Types::Standard, tobyink, may be along later to shed further light on this.
Update: Although, he hasn't been seen prowling the cloisters in the last few months.
