I get an additional line in the output:
*** Files matching 'a/b/c/d/e/fi l e': 'a/b/c/d/e/fi:l;e' a/b/c/d/e/fidlee
Changing y/ /?/ to s/ /[\\;:,-]/g fixes this. I've updated my post.
