I assume someone has been working on "Slashdot nodelet" and has broken something. Maybe several things. Here's what I found.

• Initially, I was surprised to see all links in this nodelet were showing as "visited".
• I then noticed that all of the target URLs were the same. (The link texts are different, and look like genuine Slashdot headers.)
• I then became aware that links point to the current page. To clarify:
  • as I write this, all Slashdot links on the current tab point to 'https://www.perlmonks.org/?node=Perl Monks Discussion';
  • I opened Tidings in a new tab to check if any work had been reported, all Slashdot links on that tab point to 'https://www.perlmonks.org/?node=Tidings';
  • changing back to the tab where I'm writing this and all links here still point to 'https://www.perlmonks.org/?node=Perl Monks Discussion'.

I've checked several other nodelets but their links do not appear to be affected by this problem.

There's one other minor issue. The emboldened word Slashdot now appears immediately beneath the Slashdot nodelet heading: it wasn't there yesterday and it's completely redundant.
