Re Newest Nodes and Recently Active Threads, I'm not going to stay away for a few days just to test that. :-) However, I will try to remember to monitor the situation when that next happens and report back.

Re Domain Nodelet, I've enabled that. Links from there only retain the node_id=nnnn part of the query string; for example, with https://www.perlmonks.org/?node_id=6364;user=861371 in the address bar, the Domain Nodelet shows links to http://www.perlmonks.com/index.pl?node_id=6364, http://perlmonks.com/index.pl?node_id=6364 and so on.
