It's been my impression that Perl 5 does not have named parameters, and flattens all incoming variables to a list. What your link shows, however, appears to be a form of tagging of parameters. I like the Raku concept better where this tagging is unnecessary so long as there is no change in the name of the variable itself: the variable name is itself the name of the named parameter.
