I agree with that SankoR. 200%, it is a very good way to handle complexity. And as we all know complexity is a beast which grows unexpectedly.

Polyglot, why don't you ask a question on how to slowly move into OOP? Programming is also about breaking the gate, opening new windows (pun intended though unrelated to you).
