I recommend you use super search, restrict to meditations and sort accordingly.

Like Meditations, root nodes only, oldest first and hit search.

I suppose the same reason why you can't run super search without hitting search first. Searching is expensive and bots are stupid.

So dynamic search is either tolerated for limited numbers only or they are cashed with a hard limit.
