Vibe coding: Two Major AI Coding Tools Wiped Out User Data After Making Cascading Mistakes (slashdot)

Best described by Schadenfreude. Delegating the work to a talking dog, giving the talking dog full access and instructing it not to use that privilege, not using a version control system, not even having a backup. Taking each and every shortcut possible needs to be punished exactly like this.
