When viewing replies with "bare" the author of the reply isn't listed

But any replies to that reply list the authors

Root nodes also get authors mentioned

Example compare /bare/?node_id=1120876 and Re^2: Is it possible to make reference to substrings and sort them?, the replies all get "by authorname" but not the top note
