Perhaps this is a totally wrong approach?

"Totally wrong?" For him or for me? He was expressing his pet peeves and probably has no notion of perlmonks. I, whether consciously or not, had it in my head to learn the difference and when i saw the post, it bothered me enough to read about it. Then i posted what i thought, as a thought.
