There exists WINE/winelib (How to install Win32::OLE under Linux?)
Also lkundrak says OpenOffice::UNO works. Apparently with UNO you can https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/DevGuide/Text/Navigating#Search_and_Replace among other things
