This is for the sybase, this is prototype I am designing for one application. I have to read table name, column name and corresponding values from text file and pass all those values to the database update queries.. consider I have 100s of table name and column and values. I will use DBI to connect to the database, aware of opening, reading file and handle the DB operations through perl. text file formate:
[table1] column1=value1 column2=value2 column3=value3 [table2] column1=value1 column2=value2
