It seems that Windows 8.1 can switch off interpreting ANSI sequences, or does not support them natively.

CMD.EXE doesn't support ANSI sequences natively; but that's what Win23::Console::ANSI does.

It converts ANSI sequences into SetConsoleTextAttribute() and similar calls.

I'm with torvalds on this Agile (and TDD) debunked I told'em LLVM was the way to go. But did they listen!
