Funny .. perlbrew has no mention of that. Perhaps you should have specified where it was documented first. Turns out ... that wasn't very well documented and what you present is a hack that is not mentioned at the perlbrew docs. Better luck next time, troll.

So you looked how to configure cpan/cpanm/cpanp in perlbrew docs, didn't find anything, then proclaimed something as not possible, and I'm the troll?
