At the FOSDEM, back in February 2015, it was announced that a development release was due for late September and a production release for Christmas. It seems the development release is there now, so, hopefully, Santa Claus, err, Larry Wall and the P6 team will hold the Xmas pledge. At least, I'm now starting to strongly believe it.

I have been playing with Perl 6 for about 18 months and translating/writing some French documentation about it. The more I play with P6's advanced concepts, the more I become enthusiast about it.

In brief, a nice present Xmas to come.
