Is here a better way to initialize multiple variables in one statement other than this?
...
my ($name1, $name2, $name3, $name4, $name5, $name6);
$name1 = $name2 = $name3 = $name4 = $name5 = $name6 = '';

print "\n $name1, $name2, $name3, $name4, $name5, $name6\n\n";
