Reply-Mime-Version: 1.0 I suspect the answer is that last_insert_id() is set only once perl INSERT query. In fact, it's documented as doing so: http://www.mysql.com/doc/M/i/Miscellaneous_functions.html So it's not a bug. :-) I don't see an easy way off the top of my head.
