Hi,
I have compiled SNMP perl module but when i try to use it using --> perl -e "use SNMP", it is failing saying: 


Can't load '<perl_dir>/lib/5.16.0/i686-linux-thread-multi/auto/SNMP/SN
+MP.so' for module SNMP: <perl_dir>/lib/5.16.0/i686-linux-thread-multi
+/auto/SNMP/SNMP.so: undefined symbol: usmHMACSHA1AuthProtocol

As per below link, we need to link with net-snmp 5.3, but I am already linking this SNMP module with netsnmp 5.4

Still i am seeing this issue with "SNMP" module. Strangely Net::SNMP works fine. Please let me know how to resolve this.

To compile SNMP module i am using the following: 

../../perl -I../../lib Makefile.PL INC=-I"<net-snmp_path>/include" LIB
+S="-L<net-snmp_path>/lib" -NET-SNMP-CONFIG="sh net_snmp_Path/bin/net-
+snmp-config" -NET-SNMP-IN-SOURCE=true
