I've been upping my interest in how CPAN works.
For the past year, I've been following meta CPAN for modules I might use, or that others use heavily, so I can fix bugs, correct docs etc. Often lately, I've been seeing people's (CPAN) names that are significant to Perl across the board.
When one `Google's' "Perl Toolchain Gang", there's only a list of github repos and things.
My question is, what is the "Perl Toolchain Gang", and who's a part of it?
Aside from that question, if one wanted to be kept up-to-date on current bugs (perl itself or modules), where would they sign up? I'm not equipped to handle the compiled aspect of perl, but I've found it difficult to find a place where I could see all recent bugs in CPAN modules. Bug fixers would appreciate such a thing, if it doesn't exist yet.
